Cita Food Pantry History
Founding the Organization
In 1982, a group of community members saw a need for a food bank in our area. They banded together to create Cita Food Pantry, which started as a small pantry serving just a handful of families.
Expansion and Growth
Over the years, Cita Food Pantry has grown to become a leading food bank in our region. We now serve over 20,000 individuals each year through our pantry, meal delivery, and nutrition education programs.
Addressing Food Insecurity
At Cita Food Pantry, we are committed to addressing the root causes of hunger and poverty in our community. We work with local organizations to provide job training, housing assistance, and other resources to those in need.
